Providing a positive atmosphere that exudes energy, Marc-André will have participants wanting more! His workshops, workouts and lectures, while informative and often interactive, will stimulate the attendees' creative senses while keeping their maximal attention.

Currently the Facilities and Activities Coordinator and a part-time professor at La Cité collégiale, Marc-André is also an international fitness and lifestyle presenter, consultant and motivational speaker as well as an Elite Plus Trainer at GoodLife Fitness Clubs. He has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and a Bachelor of Education as well as 2 internationally recognized personal training certifications and has worked in the fitness and health industry since 1991.

His dedication to promoting a positive and active lifestyle has enabled him to instill leadership skills for youth at risk and youth of all ages by offering hip hop programs as a fitness alternative. He has a contagious energy and unique teaching style that can be felt throughout all his classes. First as a volunteer, then as a dancer, he has been actively involved with Culture Shock Canada since its establishment in 1998. Marc-André has since been mesmerized by the art of movement through hip hop music. He has appeared on the award winning "Cardio Hip Hop" TV show and teaches workshops for middle schools, high schools and dance schools throughout Canada and the United States. As the National Executive Director, Marc-André has been the driving force behind the success of Culture Shock Canada's youth outreach programs.

Under the leadership of his mentor, Canada’s hip hop pioneer, Carole Woodstock (CS Canada co-founder), Marc-André has been thrown into the world of hip hop, teaching a variety of Youth Outreach programs and leading some workshops for middle schools, high schools and dance schools throughout Canada. Marc-André has had the opportunity to participate in workshops as well as work with some of the world’s top international hip hop presenters and choreographers including Angie Bunch (CS Founder), Alex Palma & Valentina Giardi (CS Italy), Kim Battiste (CS Oakland), Clarence Ford (Sugar Jones, Jackie Chan, former CS Toronto) Napolean & Tabitha d'Umo (Christina Milian, 702, former CS Las Vegas) and Sherman Shoate (CS San Diego, Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige) among many others. 

A native of Cornwall, Ontario, Marc-André is also the troupe's Technical Coordinator, music programmer and web site designer.  His commitment to the troupe has lead him to personally sponsor Culture Shock Canada through his own production company called Maestro Productions.  You can also check out his fitness and lifestyle website at www.maclement.com.
