Chris Medina

Chris was born in Thornhill, Ontario, and currently resides in Newmarket and works in business. His professional dance experience and free-styling ability make him a valuable member of Culture Shock Toronto (CSTO). And, even though you’ll often see Chris representing CSTO in a battle, he is the nicest and most humble guy in the world.

After years of formal dance training as a child, Chris danced professionally for the Toronto Raptors Dance Pack for three years, made appearances in film and television, and choreographed for an International Youth Outreach Hip Hop conference sponsored by Roots Canada.

Chris was introduced to Culture Shock Toronto through a friend, a CSTO member, when he was invited to be a guest instructor for a company class. Despite being semi-retired from dance, he had such a positive experience that he quickly became a CSTO member and keeps popping, locking, breaking and battling.
